Kanata Inns Invermere

Nestled in the beautiful Columbia Valley, Kanata Invermere offers friendly service, extra amenities and a convenient location. Whether you’re staying for a short business trip, or for a leisurely vacation, spend less and see more of what matters with Kanata.

The Kanata Inns Invermere offers pet owners a large outdoor space on the side and back of the building for their pets to play and relieve themselves, complete with two disposal bins for used dog bags.

Pets are offered a water bowl, poop bags and a treat at check-in. There is also a pet blanket and pee pad in the room. There are extra pads and bags available at the front desk if needed.

The Invermere Trail System is a great option near the hotel. It consists of a few paved trails that go through and around town. There are pet bag dispensers along the trails. Ray Brydon is a popular off leash dog part in town. Dogs are allowed in all the parks, beaches and trails around the area. Invermere is located between the Purcell and Rocky Mountain ranges, which makes it a perfect outdoors destination – there’s plenty of options for trails as we are close to lots of great recreation areas, provincial and national parks.

Pets are allowed in the lobby and the first floor hallway. Pets are not permitted in our breakfast room, restaurant, hot tub or on the non-pet friendly floors (2nd and 3rd floor).

Our pet fee is $20 per night, plus taxes. We charge it for a maximum of 5 nights.

**Please note that pet rooms are located on the first floor only. Standard King, Standard Double Queen and Double Queen w/ Kitchenette are the room options available on the first floor. Kanata Inns Invermere recommends that guests who need pet-friendly rooms call them directly at 250-342-8888 or contact them via email to avoid confusion and to the the correct information when it comes to pet-friendly rooms.
